The most distinctive traits of this breed are its double-layered silver-blue coat and emerald-green eyes. The coat is thick and soft to the touch. The silver tips give the coat a shimmering appearance. The Russian Blue is an intelligent, curious, and tranquil cat. They are known for their friendliness, however they are usually shy with strangers. They enjoy playing fetch and can be trained to do tricks. They love playing with a variety of toys. They are sensitive to human emotions and capable of developing close bonds with their human companions. They are sought out as pets due to their personalities and appearance.
